Bay Swim captures the feeling of lazy summer days spent swimming.
Pops of peach and purple contrast on the sand to show the dappled light from the pohutukawa. A young girl, fresh from her swim with a tyre around her waist, wanders into the distance framed by densely covered hills that are peppered with baches.
Painted with oil paint and oil pastels on canvas with a 10mm wide and 4.5cm deep oak floating frame around the outside.
