Wellington based Judi Lapsley Miller creates art that asks us to see the world through other eyes. Inspired by the wildlife and land of Aotearoa New Zealand Lapsley Miller draws from her experiences volunteering in wildlife conservation projects, she advocates for endangered species and spaces by exploring empathy and understanding.

Her process transforms photography into something more by digitally blending layers of photographs, textures, and digital brushstrokes to create images that are more painting than photograph. Through her work, she exposes her interpretation of the inner world of others, their thoughts, feelings, hopes, and desires.
